Obeli N Krishna is working on the release of his next directorial 'Pathu Thala' featuring Silambarasan in the lead role, and the film's post-production work is heading steadily. As we all know, Silambarasan sports a thick beard look in 'Pathu Thala' as he plays a gangster in the film. The lead actor's look from his upcoming release was revealed in the climax of the actor's last release 'Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu', and this has somewhere disappointed the 'Pathu Thala' director.
As Obeli shares a good rapport with 'Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu' director Gautham Menon and Silambarasan, the director was all okay with the look issue. 'Pathu Thala' is the Tamil remake of the Kannada super hit 'Mufti' and Silambarasan reprising the role of Shiva Rajkumar from the original version. Director Obeli N Krishna has made some alterations to the film's screenplay to suit the Tamil audience, and the film is expected to be more powerful than the original version. Gautham Karthik, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Gautham Menon, Kalaiyarasan, and Teejay among others play crucial roles, and the film's music is scored by AR Rahman.
