When Nayanthara said choosing 'Ghajini' was her worst choice

Nayanthara, fondly called the lady superstar, is one of the most prominent actresses in India. After gaining a foothold in the Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam industries, the actress recently made her Bollywood debut with 'Jawan' starring Shah Rukh Khan.


The actress, a couple of years ago, in an old interview, speaking about her film journey, said that in her entire list, she only regrets choosing to act in 'Ghajini'. The actress said that it was her worst choice in life. Nayanthara shared that her role in the film did not turn out the way she was told to and said that she was badly photographed. The actress mentioned that she did not mind it at that time and considered it a learning experience. The film starred Suriya and Asin in the lead roles, and Nayanthara played a supporting role in the film.

On the work front, Nayanthara was last seen in the film 'Annapurani' and the movie marked the actress' 75th film. She is now shooting for her film 'Toxic', which is helmed by Geetu Mohandas and stars Yash in the lead role. The actress has also signed up for her next movie in Malayalam with Nivin Pauly.

The actress also has her film 'Test', which is currently in post-production. Directed by Sashikanth, the movie is a sports drama starring Madhavan and Siddharth in lead roles. The actress also has the film 'Manangatti Since 1960' in the pipeline.
