When Jayam Ravi's wife Aarti Ravi shared she would give him more than 100 marks as a husband: 'During sickness, he would even collect my vomit in his hands'
Jayam Ravi announced that he is officially parting ways with his wife, Aarti Ravi, after 15 years of marriage. The actor cited ‘personal reasons’ for the split, and social media could not accept this shocking announcement. Now, a video of the duo from a previous interview is going viral on Twitter, leaving fans clueless about the reason behind the end of such a passionate love story.
A recently shared video clip on Twitter highlights a heartwarming moment from an old interview with Jayam Ravi and his wife, Aarti. In the interview, Aarti fondly recalls how Jayam took great care of her during her pregnancy. She begins by expressing her understanding of the demands of his job, acknowledging how tough it is.
However, she goes on to share how, despite his busy schedule, Jayam was always by her side during her pregnancy. She emotionally recalls a time when, during her bouts of sickness, he would even collect her vomit in his hands to comfort her. Aarti also reminisced about how Jayam would take her out to satisfy her pregnancy cravings, even if he had early morning shoots the following day. ‘As a husband, I would give him more than 100 marks. I wish everyone could have a husband like him,’ she added.
Jayam was seen becoming emotional, and he further added that he considered this a divine emotion. He recalled an incident from when she delivered their first child, Aarav, in the hospital. Jayam’s father was updating him on everything happening at the hospital, and when he said they were blessed with a baby, Jayam replied, ‘How is Aarti doing?’ He didn’t even ask if it was a baby girl or boy. Soon after, Aarti added that his father had told her this. The two were seen looking at each other, and the love was visible in their eyes.
In June, shortly after celebrating their 15th wedding anniversary on June 4, Aarti surprised fans by removing all photos featuring her husband, Jayam Ravi, from her Instagram profile. Aarti is the daughter of renowned television producer Sujatha Vijayakumar. Although the couple has kept their relationship mostly private since their marriage in 2009, this unexpected action left many fans in shock. However, Aarti soon put an end to the speculation by posting a picture honoring her husband's successful debut in the 2003 film ‘Jayam.’ The couple share two sons, Aarav and Ayaan.
On the work front, Jayam Ravi has the most awaited 'Thani Oruvan 2' in the pipeline.
