When Jayalalithaa wrote an article in 20 minutes!

Tamil Nadu is still mourning the logg of its beloved Amma. And for those who knew her, it was a personal loss. So is the case with Y Gee Mahendra whose family, especially his father, the late YG Parthasarathy, was close to Jayalalithaa. The former actress and CM even worked with their theatre group United Amateur Artists (UAA). Recalling an interesting incident, Y Gee Mahendra says, ���This happened probably in 1965-66 when Dr JJ was in our troupe.UAA brought out a souvenir and in our meeting my father, YGP announced that whoever gave the first article would get cash prize of `50 ��� a big amount then! While all of us were discussing what to write, she just asked for a pen and paper and wrote the article in just 20 minutes on the spot in our house. Of course, she got the `50. My mom still pulls my leg with this incident. Those were unforgettable times.���
