Raghav, who has directed and acted in this film, explains, ' The subject of mortality has always fascinated me. The film revolves around a guy, who is dying on that particular day.

Navneet Sundar, the music director of the film, had composed a song for a situation that involved the protagonist coming to terms with death approaching him. Lyricist Madhan Karky first suggested we work on a quirky play of words. But once he heard the tune, he said that it is more like a love song. He came up with an idea about death singing a love song to the protagonist, asking him to embrace death (laughs). It is something that has not been attempted before. A unique concept, which is sure to interest people.'
