We’d earlier reported that
Trisha will be seen in an action avatar in her upcoming film Mohini and that she’d be doing all the stunt sequences herself. Now, we have learnt that the actress shot for a gripping chase sequence in London, which required cops to be present on the set.'
Director R Madhesh tells us, “This is not just a horror thriller, but a horror action thriller.
We didn’t want Trisha’s character to just punch people on face and call that a stunt sequence! We’ve got stunt choreographers to design the scenes and she trained hard for every sequence. We shot a car chase sequence in London for over two days and for us, that was a whole new experience.”
He elaborates, “It wasn’t easy to obtain permission to shoot the chase. We had to get Trisha’s international driving licence endorsed by the licencing authority in London before we would start rolling. Local cops landed on the set on both the days we were shooting to inspect the vehicles and the precautions we’d taken. They were accompanied by an ambulance, doctors and nurses. They were quite surprised to find that Trisha was shooting the chase sequence herself and not using a body double.”
