When Chiyaan Vikram said he would be thrilled if Shah Rukh Khan watched his movie

Chiyaan Vikram is gearing up for the release of his much-awaited film ‘Thangalaan’ on August 15, alongside Parvathy Thiruvothu, Malavika Mohanan, Pasupathy, and Daniel Caltagirone. The National Award-winning actor once revealed that he would be thrilled if Shah Rukh Khan watches and likes his movie.

In an old interview with DNA India, Vikram discussed the Hindi dub of his Tamil film ‘Anniyan,’ titled ‘Aparichit.’ During the chat, he was asked how important it would be for him if Shah Rukh Khan liked the movie. He mentioned that, as an actor, the wide reach of the film to a larger audience is a significant achievement. He wanted it to break language barriers. “If Shah Rukh sees the movie and likes it, I’d be thrilled,” Chiyaan added.

He won the National Award for Best Actor for ‘Pithamagan,’ while Hrithik Roshan was nominated for ‘Koi Mil Gaya’ the same year. Salman Khan played the lead in the 2003 movie ‘Tere Naam,’ which was a remake of Vikram’s ‘Sethu.’
