The upcoming Tamil film 'Lover' stars Manikandan and Gouri Priya Reddy in lead roles. Directed by debutant Prabhu Ram Vyas, the movie is a romantic drama and the makers took to social media to launch the teaser on Sunday, December 24.
The teaser gives the audience a glimpse of a college love story and the coming of age drama later portrays the couple breaking up. The teaser also shows the female lead leaving the male lead for another man and how he overcomes his loss of love. The film is set for its release in theatres on February 14, 2024.

Director Prabhu Ram Vyas, speaking about the film earlier said that the movie will showcase the story of how relationships work and added that his main characters will show the dynamics of a man and woman who are in a relationship. 'Lover' marks the feature debut of Prabhu Ram; he earlier directed the web series 'LIVIN'.
The film's technical crew consists of cinematographer Shreyaas Krishna and editor Barath Vikraman. The music of the movie is composed by Sean Rolden.
