RJ Balaji's Singapore Saloon premieres on OTT

RJ Balaji's recent film 'Singapore Saloon' written and directed by Gokul of 'Idharkuthaane Aasaipattai Balakumara' fame hit the screen earlier in january and had received mixed response from the audience. The film which hit the screen on January 25, 2024 is now available on the popular OTT platform, Prime Video.

The film is a comedy drama in Gokul’s style and was “a coming-of-age story of a young man with aspirations”. RJ Balaji plays a hairstylist in the film, and he has apparently trained under hair stylists for one-and-a-half months to play this character.

The film has Meenakshi Chaudhary playing the female lead with Sathyaraj, Lal, Kishen Das, Ann Sheetal, Thalaivasal Vijay, John Vijay and Robo Shankar in supporting roles while Lokesh Kanagaraj and Jiiva played cameo appearance roles. The music is composed by the composer duo Vivek–Mervin, and background score by Javed Riaz.
