As Pongal releases 'Captain Miller' and 'Ayalaan' are gearing up for OTT release, 'Mission: Chapter 1' is also getting ready for its digital premiere.
Unlike the theatrical release, 'Mission: Chapter 1' will have a delayed OTT release, and the film will be streaming on Netflix on February 16. Whereas 'Captain Miller' and 'Ayalaan' will be streaming on February 9 on their respective digital platforms. 'Mission: Chapter 1' getting a delayed OTT release might drive the film to gain better attention from the audience with no new OTT release in Tamil next week. 'Mission: Chapter 1' is anticipated to be the show stealer among the Tamil Pongal releases after their OTT releases.
Directed by AL Vijay, 'Mission: Chapter 1' features Arun Vijay, Nimisha Sajayan, and Amy Jackson in the main roles, and the film had music scored by GV Prakash Kumar. The action thriller is about a terrorist attack on India, and it also deals with a father-and-daughter sentiment.
