The teaser trailer of 'Chennai 600028 II Innings' has been released. It is the sequel to the coming-of-age, sports-comedy film 'Chennai 600028' that released almost a decade ago in 2007. This film is directed by Venkat Prabhu, who also directed the first part of the film. It was in fact his directorial debut.
The cast of 'Chennai 600028 II Innings' includes Jai, Shiva, Premji, Aravind Akash and Nithin Sathya, who all played a crucial role in the first part. Famous composer Yuvan Shankar Raja has scored the music for this sports-comedy.

This Venkat Prabhu film is bankrolled by Black Ticket Company productions and the movie is expected to release early next year.
