VJ Archana, who shot to fame with the television serial Raja Rani 2, is all set to make her debut in Tamil cinema. She has been signed on to play an important role in Demonte Colony 2, directed by Venky Venugopal. Ajay Gnanamuthu, who debuted in the industry with the first part, is penning the story for the franchise.
Archana, who will be joining the sets soon, reveals to us exclusively, “I will be playing Arulnithi’s sister in the film. I’ll begin shooting for my portions from early this month and I’m happy that I’m getting launched by such a good team. ”
This is the first feature film that Archana signed on after she quit the television industry. “I am passionate about films and that’s one of the reasons why I quit Raja Rani 2.
Many were quite upset about my decision, but then, I wanted to learn many other things and concentrate on films,” says the actress, who was recently seen in the oneminute music video, DhamaaThundu, with composer Dharan Kumar.
