Vishal's upcoming film 'Veeramae Vaagai Soodum' is being planned to be released in February, the makers have officially announced that the film directed
Thu Pa Saravanan will hit the screens on February 4, 2022. Just as we anticipated, the announcement comes in liew of Tamil Nadu government announcing the end of night curfew and total lockdown on Sundays.
The film starring Vishal and Dimple Hayathi in the lead, is about a normal man from a middle-class family questioning the authorities for abusing their powers. While the film was earlier planned to hit the screens on January 26, 2022, the release got postponed due to the COVID-19 situation.'Veerame Vaagai Soodum' will be the first big film to hit the screens after the third wave of the pandemic.
The movie is releasing in two languages as ‘Veerame Vaagai Soodum’ in Tamil and ‘Saamanyudu’ Telugu. The film will also feature Yogi Babu, Marimuthu, Thulasi, Kavitha Bharathi, R.N.R. Manohar, Mariam George, and Maha Gandhi in important roles.
The film, produced by Vishal's own firm Vishal Film Factory, is the story of a common man taking on those in power. While Yuvan Shankar Raja has scored music for the film, the technical team includes editing by N.B. Srikanth, cinematography byKavin Raj and art direction by S.S. Moorthy.
