' has bagged over 1200 screens. 'Veeramae Vaagai Soodum' is releasing along with the Telugu version 'Saamyandu', and the film has been censored U/A.

The film has got more screens in Telugu states as there are no big releases while it has got more than 500 screens in Tamil Nadu. Both Tamil and Telugu versions have jointly got more than 1400 screens, and the makers have occupied most screens to gain good numbers at the box office with restricted occupancy in theatres.

Meanwhile, Vishal plays a cop in 'Veeramae Vaagai Soodum', which is directed by debutant Thu Pa Saravanan, and the film is said to be dealing with a powerful issue. Loaded with action, romance, and comedy, the film also has several popular faces, and the film is produced by Vishal under the banner Vishal Film Factory.
