Yuvan Shankar Raja. Saravanan came on board after Vishal was impressed with his acclaimed short film Edhu Thevaiyo Adhuve Dharmam. The movie, which is billed as a quickie, is expected to release in August. Tentatively titled #Vishal31, the film went on floors on Thursday in Chennai with a puja ceremony.

Dimple Hayathi has been roped in to play the female lead in the movie. She was also present at the puja ceremony of the movie. This is the second film of Dimple in Kollywood, who made her Tamil debut with

. She was last seen in the

, the remake of
Karthik Subbaraj’s Jigarthanda. Balasubramaniem will crank camera for the film which will be bankrolled by Vishal himself.
