Vishal skips the audio launch of ‘Abhimanyudu’

Owing to the killings of civilians in the aftermath of Sterlite protests in Tuticorin, Vishal decided to skip the audio launch of ‘Abhimanyudu’, which was supposed to take place in Hyderabad today. A Telugu dubbed version of the recently released ‘Irumbu Thirai’, the makers had planned for a big audio launch of 'Abhimanyudu', as Vishal has a reasonably good market in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.Titled ‘Abhimanyudu’ in Telugu, the film is slated to release on June 1.
‘Irumbu Thirai’, which released on May 11, has opened to unanimous positive response from critics and audience alike. A cyber-crime thriller, the film is being particularly lauded for its racy screenplay and stellar performances by the lead actors. Ever since its release, ‘Irumbu Thirai’ has been doing very good business at the box office and is reported to have grossed Rs 32 crore so far.
