Vishal resumes shoot for #Vishal31 in Hyderabad

Even as states across the country have started easing lockdown restrictions, life is slowly starting to return to the new normal. Though there is no clear order yet on resuming shoots in Tamil Nadu, a few other states have opened their doors to film and serial crews. Now, the team of #Vishal31 has headed to Hyderabad to resume shoot on the film.

Sharing the news on his social media handle, Vishal tweeted, “We have resumed shoot for #Vishal31 in Hyderabad, it’s going to be a long schedule & will be wrapping the movie by July end, shoot going on with all protocols being followed. Happy to be back at work....(sic).” He also shared a video of the team in action in Hyderabad, where they have been shooting since today while following strict COVID-19 protocols.

Directed by Thu Pa Saravanan – whose acclaimed short film Edhu Thevaiyo Adhuve Dharmam landed him #Vishal31 - the action entertainer stars Dimple Hayathi as the female lead. The film was launched in January with a pooja, but the shoot started late in April, just a few days before lockdown was announced in Tamil Nadu. The yet-untitled film is about a normal man from a middle-class family questioning the authorities for abusing their powers.

Meanwhile, there were reports of Kavin Raj replacing Balasubramaniem as the cinematographer in the film owing to the latter’s health, but the crew credits in the making video that Vishal shared seems to have cleared the air - Bala Subramaniem M has been credited as the DOP of the film, which has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja!
