Vishal recently wrapped up the shooting for his 34th film, titled 'Rathnam', which is directed by
Hari. Following this, the actor is now all set to make his directorial debut. Vishal, a couple of months ago, started the work for the project 'Thupparivalan 2', the sequel to Mysskin's directorial. Produced by Vishal Film Factory, director Myssking walked out of the film over creative indifferences.
Vishal turned into a director, and a few sequences for the film have already been shot. According to reports from Glitz, Vishal is now travelling to London to lay out the locations for his team as the movie will resume shooting by February. The film's story is said to happen in London, and the star cast includes Vishal, Prasnnam Rahman, and Nassar, among others. The music for the film is composed by Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja.
'Thupparivalan' was a detective thriller, and the sequel is said to follow the same format. More updates are pending from the production house regarding the female lead of the film. Meanwhile, Vishal's 'Rathnam' is set for release in theatres on April 26. Directed by Hari, the movie is a rural action drama featuring Vishal, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Samuthirakani, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Yogi Babu, and Murali Sharma, among others. The film's music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
