He also recalled his memories with Vijayakanth when he met the late actor at his home after recovering the documents of Nadigar Sangam. Vishal has decided to take the good things left by Vijayakanth forward, as he will help people who are struggling for food. Vishal then prayed for the soul of the kind actor to rest in peace and expressed his grief over the actor's demise. Vijayakanth passed away on December 28 morning, and the doctors declared pneumonia as the reason behind the actor's demise. Vijayakanth's mortal remains have now been kept at the actor-politician's party office in Koyambedu to allow fans and cinema stars to pay their homage, while fans have been gathering in large numbers to witness the popular actor for one last time. The funeral of Vijayakanth is to happen in Chennai on December 29.
