Vishal had been continuously shooting for his 31st film ever since the lockdown restrictions for film shootings were lifted. Directed by
Thu Pa Saravanan – whose acclaimed short film Edhu Thevaiyo Adhuve Dharmam landed him #Vishal31 - the action entertainer stars Dimple Hayathi as the female lead. While the shooting had been wrapped up recently, the makers have now revealed the title of the film.
On the occasion of Vishal' birthday on 29th August, the film which had been tentatively called '
Vishal 31
' so far, has now been titled. 'Veeramae Vaagai Soodum'. Vishal took to his Twitter handle and posted the first look and title of #Vishal 31 – '

The film is about a normal man from a middle-class family questioning the authorities for abusing their powers. The movie is releasing in two languages as ‘Veerame Vaagai Soodum’ in Tamil and ‘Saamanyudu’ Telugu. The film also stars well-known actors like Prakash Raj, Mamta Mohandas and others.
Meanwhile, Vishal will be next seen in the action-drama 'Enemy', which is directed by Anand Shankar, and an interesting teaser was released a few weeks ago. Vishal and Arya play main roles, and it's going to be an onscreen rivalry between the two real-life friends.
