Vinoth trained in stunts for six months before shooting for Naanthan Siva

In an earlier interaction with us, Panneerselvam said his Naanthan Siva is a film that’ll be high on action. “Romance and action both have equal importance in the film,” he had said then. Now, we have learnt that Vinoth, who is playing the lead in the film, had trained for six months before he could perform the stunt scenes in the film.

A source says, “The team had shot the climax portions on top of a high-rise in Trichy. A fight sequence between Vinoth and Prashant Narayanan was also canned here. Before starting shoot, Vinoth had trained with Kanal Kannan master for six months and learnt all the nuances of the business. So, it was easier for him to perform in the action blocks that were conceptualized by stunt master Rajashekar for this film.”

However, on the third day of the climax sequence, Vinoth injured his hand and was admitted for treatment at a hospital. “He was advised bed rest for a few months. So, the team resumed shoot after five months and the continuity scene of the climax action block was shot for six days,” the source says, “Vinoth is from Koothu-p-pattarai and is quite passionate about acting. He has done his portions really well in the film.”

. “A young man meets two people in his life and both of them have different impacts on his life. The film is about how the young man recovers from it. Romance and action will be there in equal parts. We have shot this film in Kumbakonam and Trichy,” he had told us earlier.

While Arshitha Shetty of Udhayam NH4 plays the female lead, Imman has composed the music for the film, which has been produced by Lingusamy and Subash Chandrabose.
