When I got a call from Ameer, asking me if I would be willing to do a film with him, I didnt think twice to accept the offer.
1x1 polls
Even though I played a villain, hes a person who will do anything for his wife. Ameer guided me throughout the film and said my role has a lot of responsibility, recalls Vincent.
And he cant stop gushing about Mithran Jawahar and Dhanush as well. In Kutty, my role had no content. I just had to chase Dhanush, Shriya and Sammir. But Jawahar has portrayed me in such a nice manner that I dont feel like an extra! he says. Talking about his forthcoming projects, Vincent says, Parthepan offered me Vitthagan after seeing my performance in Yogi. I play the spoilt son of a rich politician, an eccentric character. Parthepan has given me all the freedom to experiment with my character.
Im also working on Aathma Raagam with Jeya Akash. I play a do-gooder, whos also a thug. He loves his sister and sacrifices everything for her.
Talk about 2010 Bhagyaraj, in which hes acting with Premgi, and Vincents eyes light up. I play the villain, a 50-year-old stinking rich guy. What happens when his path crosses with Premgis forms the rest of the story.Ask Vincent if hes inspired by his father, veteran actor Asokan, he replies pat, Of course, I took up acting because of my father. In fact, hes the my biggest motivation. After my big break in Eei, Id taken some wrong steps and got lost in the industry. Still, I didnt give up acting because my father wouldnt have liked it. I fought and finally made a comeback with Pokkiri. Vincent has also played the lead in Sila Nerangalil, opposite Navya Nair. The film, directed by National Award winning director Jayaraj, was about reincarnation. Though the film didnt do well, I learnt a lot from it. After all, life is all about learning, Vincent concludes on a philosophical note.
