Vimal-Vijay Sethuapthi's 'Kula Saamy' to begin from October 16

Actor Vimal, who was last seen on the big screens in 'Kalavani 2' is all set to begin shooting for his next film. In an exclusive interview with us a few months ago, Vimal had revealed that his next film titled '

Kula Saamy

' was in pre-production stage, in which Vijay Sethupathi will be doing a never-seen-before avatar. He had revealed that Vijay Sethupathi will be taking care of the dialogues and screenplay for the film.

Now, the latest is that the shooting of the film is expected to start on October 16th. The film directed by Saravananshakti has story, screenplay and dialogues by Vijay Sethupathi, who has previously written dialogues for Orange Mittai and Chennai Palani Mars.

Meanwhile, Vimal has a line up of films in various stages of production, which include 'Engal Pattan Soththu', 'Sandakaari', 'Manjal Kudai', 'Kanni Raasi', 'Lucky', and 'Thudikarangal'. The first three are nearing completion. Shriya Saran plays Vimal's pair in 'Sandakari' with veteran actress KR Vijaya also being a part of the film.
