Vikram's career to turn around?

Vikram is one actor who has seen success and failure. After all, he did struggle to reach the position where he is today. But there is absolutely no disagreement about the fact that he is one of the finest actors of the generation.
But the actor has reached a stage where he desperately needs a hit to his credit. The actor's biggest hit in the recent times was Anniyan, that too in 2005.After that Vikram had many misses at the Box Office including Majaa, Bheema, Kanthasamy, Raavanan, Rajapattai and Thaandavam.
Deivathirumagal, which released in the interim, did decent business at the Box Office. His last release was Bejoy Nambiar's David, which also bombed at the Box Office.
It looks like the Vikram is pinning all hopes on Shankar's I. The film is considered to be his comeback vehicle at the Box Office. Let' see if Shankar's film can salvage Vikram's box-office.
