Pushkar and Gayatri who directed the blockbuster movie Vikram Vedha, starring
Vijay Sethupathi, Madhavan, Shraddha Srinath, Kathir and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar are turning producers. The duo debuted as directors with Oram Po starring Arya and Pooja. Later they directed Va Quarter Cutting, a black comedy starring SP Charan, Lekha Washington, and Mirchi Shiva. It was their third directorial venture, Vikram Vedha, that made them reach the pinnacle of fame.
Now the movie will be remade in different languages including Bollywood.
The latest is that the director duo has launched their production house, Wallwatcher films. They tweeted that though they had listened to some good scripts from talented filmmakers, they could not produce it, but they are now ready to bankroll good films. An official announcement is expected soon.
