Vikram Prabhu and
Sri Divya, who had earlier acted together in 'Vellaikaara Durai', will share screen space once again in 'Tiger'. The film, which is said to be an action thriller, will be directed by Karthi.
Elaborating on the film, Karthi says, “Tiger is largely set in Chennai and follows the story of a youngster, played by Vikram Prabhu. After many instances of rowdyism that take place in Chennai, the protagonist gets sucked into its vortex.
With a lot of twists, turns, and chase sequences, this one will be an edge-of-the-seat thriller.”
When Karthi finished penning the script, he felt that Vikram Prabhu and Sri Divya would be apt for the film. “For Vikram, it will be a different subject altogether. He will be sporting a new look in the film. His character is raw and has a certain body language, too. Sri Divya plays a girl-next-door character. She plays a mature woman, who handles her life responsibly,”says Karthi. The film also has newbie Ananthika as the second leading lady. Sakthi Vasu will be essaying a negative role. The team is on the lookout for two more artistes to play antagonists in the film.
The shoot has begun in Chennai. “We will be shooting across the city, and in some important locales in Goa,” informs Karthi. Sam CS will be scoring music for the film.
