'Vikram' becomes Kamal Haasan's first film to get Twitter emoji

All eyes are on the release of Kamal Haasan's 'Vikram', and the action drama is slated for a grand release on June 3 in multiple languages. The extensive promotions for the film have been going on steadily. Social media is also buzzing with regular updates around the film. The makers have activated the Twitter emoji for 'Vikram' to draw more attention on social media. Kamal Haasan took his Twitter to make the announcement that #Vikram #VikramInAction and #VikramHitlist are the hashtags that have got emojis.


With this introduction, 'Vikram' becomes the ninth Tamil film to get Twitter emoji after 'Mersal', 'Kaala', 'NGK', 'Bigil', 'Darbar', 'Soorarai Pottru', 'Master', and 'Maaran'. But it's the first film of Kamal Haasan to get Twitter emoji as it's the actor's first release in the last three years after 'Vishwaroopam II'. Also, 'Vikram' is the first Indian film to launch NFTs, and the grand launch took place at ongoing Cannes Film Festival 2022

Kamal Haasan is said to be playing a retired cop in 'Vikram', and the film is said to have a connection with the actor's 1986 film with the same title. Reported to be an action-loaded drama, Lokesh Kanagaraj's directorial has a strong star cast that includes Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil, Narain, Kalidas Jayaram, Gayathrie, and Chemban Vinod among others, while the music is scored by Anirudh Ravichander.
