Viji had played the lead role in the critically acclaimed film Arohanam, directed by Lakshmi Ramakrishnan. The film produced by Positive Print Studios has Yuvan Shankar Raja composing the music. The recent additions to the cast include Adukalam fame Narain and popular television artist Pazhaya Joke Thangadurai.
Rio Raj was last seen in his debut film Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu Odu Raja directed by debutant Karthik Venugoplan that had featured RJ Vigneshkanth, Nanjil Sampath, and Radha Ravi, which was produced by actor Sivakarthikeyan.
