Actor Thalapathy Vijay is all set for his debut in Telugu with 'Thalapathy 66' directed by Vamshi Paidipally. The film produced by Dil Raju is said to be a Tamil-Telugu bilingual and the shooting of the film is currently underway in Chennai. While there was buzz around the leaked pictures of Vijay from the sets of the film, the latest is about the film's title, which is yet to be announced.
Reports are that the film has been titled 'Varasudu' in Telugu and 'Vaarisu' in Tamil, which mean 'Heir' in English. But an official announcement is expected to be made on June 22, 2022 on the occasion of Vijay's birthday. While Rashmika Mandanna plays the female lead, Prakash Raj and Sarath Kumar play an important roles in the film with Prabhu, Prakash Raj, Jayasudha, Shaam, Telugu actor Srikanth, and Yogi Babu playing supporting roles.
'Thalapathy 66', which is said to be a family-centric story, has music by Thaman and there have also be reports that Tollywood star Mahesh Babu will be making a cameo appearance. The film is said to have a very good story line and will be a heart-touching family entertainer with a complete package of action, mass elements and good songs.
