Vijayakanth and Vijay shared a cute bond, recalls Jaguar Thangam

Vijayakanth, the veteran Tamil actor passed away due to ill health on Dec 28, while his unfortunate demise has affected the Tamil cinema industry heavily. Several cinema stars have been recalling about Vijayakanth on social media and in their YouTube interviews. Choreographer-actor-director Jaguar Thangam, who shared a great association with Vijayakanth, has recalled a fond memory of the late actor in his recent interview.In the late 1990s, Jaguar Thangam opened a gym and he invited several cinema stars for the inauguration. Vijayakanth and Vijay were the main chief guests for the inauguration, and here is how Jaguar Thangam invited both.
Jaguar Thangam invited Vijayakanth in person for the inauguration of his gym and shared his idea about welcoming him to the event through posters. Vijayakanth, who came to know about Vijay's presence, asked Jaguar Thangam to stick more posters for the junior actor as the former wished the younger one to get major attention among the public. Jaguar Thangam has also accepted Vijayakanth's condition, and he went on to invite Vijay.

Even though Vijay accepted Jaguar Thangam's invitation through a phone call, the latter met the former in Mahabalipuram during the film shoot. Vijay accepted his invitation and the actor sent a message to Jaguar Thangam after knowing about Vijayakanth's presence for the event. Vijay asked Jaguar Thangam to keep more posters and banners for Vijayakanth as the junior felt that he was always behind the senior. Jaguar Thangam has recalled such a cute bonding Vijay and Vijayakanth had between them, and feels nostalgic.
Vijay didn't miss to attend Vijayakanth's funeral, and the leading actor turned emotional while paying homage to the veteran actor.
