Vijay Vasanth’s heartfelt note about his father, H Vasanthakumar

Actor Vijay Vasanth has shared a heartfelt note about his father H Vasanthakumar, who had passed away recently. The Chennai 600028 actor wrote on his social media page, “50 years back, when he was 20, my father came to chennai carrying only dreams. 50 years later, all his dreams realised, he returned to his village as wholesome human to be laid to rest.Thanks for your prayers, tributes & condolences.#missyoudad #Vasanthakumar.”

Vasanthakumar was admitted to a private hospital after he had tested positive for Covid-19. Vasanthakumar was the Kanniyakumari Congress MP and the founder of the popular retail chain Vasanth & Co. Vasanthakumar was a self-made man who began his journey as a salesperson in Chennai. He had nothing other than his cycle and went door to door seeking clients.
Vasanth’s friends from the film industry took to social media to offer their condolences to the actor.
