Vijay Sethupathi starrer 'Sindhubaadh' has been in the news for quite some time now. The film's release was reportedly stayed by the Hyderabad High Court issued in the month of May.
Now, it looks like the matter has been resolved and the makers are gearing up for the release. The film has reportedly been scheduled for release in a few days probably this weekend on June 28, Friday. Touted to be an action thriller and set in Bangkok, SU Arun Kumar who had earlier worked with Vijay Sethupathi in 'Pannaiyarum Padminiyum' and 'Sethupathi' has directed the film.
SN Rajarajan and Shan Sutharsan have produced the film under the Banner of K Productions & Vansan Movies. Ruben is handling the editing Vijay Karthik is in charge of the cinematography. Previously, Anjali and Vijay Sethupathi had worked together in 'Iraivi', which was directed by
Karthik Subbaraj.
The stay was alleged by Arka Media Works, Hyderabad the producers of 'Baahubali 2' that K Productions Rajarajan the producer of 'Sindhubaadh' and Escape Artists Madan the producer of
Dhanush's 'Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta' as the makers owed them money with regards to the distribution of their mega-hit
