Vijay Sethupathi's 'Maamanithan' to be screened at the Moscow International Film Festival

Actor Vijay Sethupathi played the lead role in the film ‘Maamanithan’ which was released last year. Directed by Seenu Ramasamy, the film was critically acclaimed and now taking to social media, the director of the film announced that the movie ‘Maamanithan’ will be screened under the World Cinema category at the Moscow International Film Festival.

The director on his tweet stated that the film will be screened at the 45th Moscow International Film Festival from April 20 to 27 and also added that the festival committee has invited music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja to attend the movie screening. Music director Yuvan Shankar Raja was the producer of the film and the movie also had music composer Illaiyaraaja work with his son Yuvan Shankar Raja together to compose the music of the film.

The film featured Vijay Sethupathi as an auto driver and the female lead role was played by Gayathri Shankar. The movie was released on June 28, 2022 and the movie has won many accolades. ‘Maamanithan’ also previously won the award at the Indo-French International Film Festival 2022.
