Vijay Sethupathi's 'Kadaisi Vivasayi' to stream on OTT from March 11

The recently released Tamil agricultural film ‘

Kadaisi Vivasayi

’ has been critically acclaimed. The movie stars Nalandi – an old man in the lead role and has actors namely Vijay Sethupathi and Yogi Babu in important roles. The film was directed by M Manikandan and the music for the movie was composed by Santhosh Narayanan and Richard Harvey.

Well-known director Mysskin had also previously praised Manikandan for directing such a good film and even added that the film should be rewarded with awards.

The story of ‘Kadiasi Vivasayi’ revolves around the agricultural civilization. It narrates a story of an old man who is the only and last farmer in the village who believes in farming. The movie has broken all the stereotypical representations about the hardships of farmers. The film was released in theatres on February 11 and though it did not break the box office, it is critically acclaimed and is considered a success as its portrayal was realistic.

Now, the film’s OTT rights has been acquired by a popular OTT platform and will be premiered on from March 11. The official tweet reads, “The last active farmer in a remote village tries to hold out against a property developer.”
