Earlier in February, it was announced that actor Vijay Sethupathi will be teaming up with director Nithilan Swaminathan of 'Kurangu Bommai' fame. While the film's shooting had been progressing, we had earlier reported that the film has been titled 'Maharaja'. Now, the makers have officially announced the title of the film as 'Maharaja' along with a poster.
Produced by Passion Studios, the film's cast includes Vijay Sethupathi, Anurag Kashyap, Mamta Mohandas and Natty Natraj in important roles. The film’s shooting is already completed, and the post-production work is briskly nearing completion. Director Nithilan earlier stated that the film will have a lot of interesting elements in it and added that the screenplay of the film will be unique.
The ensemble star-cast of Maharaja includes Abhirami, Arul Doss, Munishkanth, Boys Manikandan, Singam Puli, Bharathiraja, Vinod Sagar, PL Thenappan and few more prominent actors as well.
