Vijay Sethupathi who had started shooting for '
Laabam
' with director SP Jananathan, earlier in November has wrapped up shooting for his portions in the film. The star actor had immediately joined the shooting after completing his shooting for his film with Taapsee Pannu in September. The 'Master' actor completed his portions yesterday and signed off with a group picture with the entire team.
Shruti Haasan is playing as the female in 'Laabam', and it marks her comeback in Tamil after five years. Jagapathi Babu plays the antagonist in the film, which also has Kalaiyarasan, Sai Dhanshika (who acted in Jhananathan's Peraanmai) and Prithvi Pandiarajan in important roles. D Imman is composing the music for the film.
'Laabam' is reportedly about the importance of agriculture, and Vijay Sethupathi will be seen in a strong role in the film. The film has Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Sai Dhanshika, Kalaiyarasan, Ramesh Thilak, Daniel Annie Pope playing important roles.
