Vijay Sethupathi turns writer once again

Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi began the year with Superstar's 'Petta' and had a superb outing with his last release 'Super Deluxe'. He is one of the busiest actors in Kollywood right now with a number of projects in different stages of production.

Previously we had reported that actor turned producer Vijay Sethupathi penned the dialogues for Vikranth-Vishnu Vishal starrer which was directed by Sanjeev and his own production venture 'Orange Mittai' in which he played the lead. Directed by Biju Vishwanath, 'Orange Mittai' won critical acclaim but failed at the box office.


Now the latest update is that Vijay Sethupathi is once again penning dialogues for Biju Vishwanath’s new film ‘Chennai Palani Mars’. Biju Viswanath will be co-producing the film along with Vijay Sethupathi under the banner Orange Mittai Productions besides handling the cinematography and editing. Niranjan Babu has been roped in to score the music. The film will star newcomers and more details about the cast and crew are yet to be revealed. The first look of the film will be unveiled by Vijay Sethupathi on May 22.


Meanwhile, the actor has another sequel 'Sethupathi 2' with SU Arun Kumar in the pipeline along with 'Sindhubath' which has completed filming and is expected to release in June and 'Sanga Tamizhan', 'Kadaisi Vivasayi', 'Laabam' and 'Maamanithan' in various stages of production. Apart from these Tamil films, he also has 'Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy' in Telugu and 'Marconi Mathai' in Malayalam.
