Vijay Sethupathi to make his Kannada debut

After ruling the roost in Tamil cinema, Vijay Sethupathi is all set to foray into Sandalwood aka Kannada cinema. According to reports, Vijay Sethupathi has played a major role in the upcoming Kannada film ‘Akhaada’, which apparently has been in the making for nearly three years. In fact, Vijay Sethupathi was on board for the project while he was shooting for the cop-thriller ‘Sethupathi’. Reports also suggest that Vijay Sethupathi would be playing a negative role in the film, which stars Vasanth Vishnu in the lead. ‘Akhaada’, which will be releasing in Tamil as ‘Edaku’, is being directed by Shiva Ganesh.

Interestingly, Vijay Sethupathi will also be making his debut in Tollywood with the upcoming period-drama ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’ starring megastar Chiranjeevi.
