Vijay Sethupathi suggested the title of our musical thriller: Roghanth

We had told you that Vijay Sethupathi is acting in a musical thriller directed by debutant Venkata Krishna Roghanth. The film, which has Megha Akash as the female lead and director Magizh Thirumeni as the antagonist, has now been titled Yaadhum Oore Yaavarum Kelir. What’s interesting is that it was Vijay Sethupathi who came up with this title.
Roghanth says, “We were discussing a few titles, and since the theme of the film is universal, I felt we could have Yaavarum Kelir as the title.It was Vijay Sethupathi who suggested we go with Yaadhum Oore Yaavarum Kelir, the famous quote of Kaniyan Pungundranar. I don’t think any other language has distilled the essence of the oneness of humanity in such simple terms.”
The team will be shooting next in a set of a 150-year-old church, a major backdrop for the film, that art director Veerasamar has erected.
