Vijay Sethupathi launches first look of survival thriller Parundhaaguthu Oorkuruvi

Debutant filmmaker Ko Dhanabalan had directed the upcoming Nishanth Rusho-Vivek Prasanna starrer Parundhaaguthu Oorkuruvi, which is based on the theme that 'Wickedness and evil shall perish'. The movie, which is a survival thriller, is made by a team of passionate youngsters.
Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi released the first look poster of the film and wished the young team all the success.The intriguing first look has created an interest around Parundhaaguthu Oorkuruvi among movie buffs.
The story, we hear, revolves around the two individuals who are trapped inside a forest that has lots of mysteries. "How they save each other and what are the attempts made by them to survive the chain of hazardous situations in a single day is what has been presented as a survival thriller," state the team.
While Nishanth Rusho and Vivek Prasanna (Of Meyaadha Maan and Vikram Vedha fame) are playing the lead characters in this movie, Mumbai-based model Gayathri Iyer is playing the female lead role. Ratsasan fame Vinod Sagar, Aroul D Shankar, Kodanki Vadivel, E Ramdoss and a few more actors are a part of this star cast.
The crew has shot the movie across the remote forests located near Koodalur Manvayal village. "This movie will offer a never-seen-before experience to the audience in the theatres," the team state in a press release.
Ko Dhanabalan, who was a former co-director of acclaimed filmmaker Ram, has written the story and screenplay apart from directing this movie. Renjith Unni of Jimikki Kammal fame has composed the music for this film, which has cinematography by Ashwin Noel.
