Vijay Sethupathi is one of the few actors who shares a good rapport with almost everyone in the industry. However, it looks like Vijay Sethupathi is reportedly miffed with the Tamil Film Producers’ Council (TFPC) for allowing the shoot of certain films like ‘Thalapathy 62’ among others despite the ongoing strike in the industry. In fact, actors Siddharth and Karunakaran were trolled on social media for talking about the hypocrisy of the industry. After facing severe criticism for its decision, the TFPC later issued a statement clarifying its stance regarding the shooting of certain films.

to wrap up the remaining portions of his forthcoming film ‘

Junga

’. Touted to be a gangster comedy, the film is being directed by Gokul of ‘Rowthiram’ fame. Produced by Vijay Sethupathi himself under the banner Vijay Sethupathi Productions, ‘Junga’ stars Sayesha and Madonna Sebastian in pivotal roles.

Apart from ‘Junga’, Vijay Sethupathi has many projects this year. He has two biggies -- Mani Ratnam’s ‘Chekka Chivantha Vaanam’ and Chiranjeevi-starrer ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’. Vijay Sethupathi is teaming up with Thyagaraja Kumarraja for ‘Super Deluxe’, in which he will be playing a transgender character called Shilpa.
