Vijay Sethupathi and Vadivelu's untitled project to go on floors in January 2023

A couple of weeks back, actor Vadivelu in a media briefing reportedly confirmed that he will be teaming up with actor Vijay Sethupathi for a film. The title of the film has not yet been announced and director Arumuga Kumar is said to direct the new film. The new update is that the film will go on grounds in January 2023 and it is reported that the shooting will take place in Malaysia.
According to media reports, the pre-production work of the film is underway and it is likely that the cast and crew of the movie will be finalised by the end of the month.Moreover, Arumuga Kumar is also reportedly said to work on another film with Vijay Sethupathi alongside Mammootty. Director Manikandan will be directing it and it will be produced by Arumuga Kumar.
On the professional front, Vijay Sethupathi is currently shooting for ‘Jawan’ and has a few other projects in the pipeline that are awaiting release including ‘Mumbaikar’ and ‘Merry Christmas’. Actor Vadivelu is marking his comeback with ‘Naai Sekar Returns’ and is also shooting for ‘Chandramukhi 2’.
