Vijay and Amala Paul tie the knot

Director Vijay and actress Amala Paul, who announced that they were in a relationship a few months ago, tied the knot in Chennai yesterday. The wedding, conducted in the traditional way, was a glitzy affair, attended by the who���s who of the industry.
While Amala looked pretty in a pink silk sari, replete with traditional jewels, Vijay was dressed in a white silk veshti and shirt.Among those present to wish the couple on their big day were Vikram, Arya, cinematographer Nirav Shah, GV Prakash and Saindhavi, Ponvannan and Saranya, Mani Ratnam, Priyadarshan and Lizzy, Jagapathi Babu, Samuthirakani, Jayam Raja, Bala, Abbas and Luthfudeen Basha.
