Vignesh Shivan praises Ajith Kumar's 'Vidaamuyarchi'; Says, 'Like solving a puzzle keeps you hooked'
Ajith Kumar's comeback film, 'Vidaamuyarchi,' is performing incredibly well with positive reviews. Recently, filmmaker Vignesh Shivan shared his detailed review of the movie after watching it in theaters.
Shivan expressed his admiration for Ajith's dedication to his craft and praised director Magizh Thirumeni for the film's engaging storyline and unexpected twists.
The director wrote, "Here is the text from the image: #vidamuyarchi Such an intense thriller! Like solving a puzzle keeps you hooked from the first to the last frame!! AK sir’s screen presence, his suave, carries the entire film on his shoulders! From the realistic risky action to the last scene emotion, he plays the character so honestly! So genuine, and yet you can’t stop whistling every time he walks with some scintillating score from the king @anirudhofficial! #magizhthirumeni sir makes the screenplay so tight, and the way the shots and consistency have been maintained in a very tough terrain proves the amount of hard work!! Credits to Omprakash sir and Nirav sir for making the film look so good! Truly an international standard! Excellent performances from Trisha, Regina, Arjun, Aarav, and everyone! Kudos for a grand success."
He also acknowledged the performances of Arjun Sarja, Trisha Krishnan, and Regina Cassandra.
'Vidaamuyarchi' marks a departure from Ajith's typical mass masala films, focusing on content over conventional action sequences. Ajith plays Arjun, a soft-spoken businessman residing in Baku, Azerbaijan, with his wife Kayal played by Trisha Krishnan. Their marriage, initially filled with excitement, has become monotonous over the years. After Kayal suffers a miscarriage, the couple decides to get a divorce.
However, despite positive feedback, 'Vidaamuyarchi' faced a setback as it was leaked online in high definition shortly after its release.
