'Viduthalai 2' shooting to go on for 40 more days!

Directed by Vetrimaaran, 'Viduthalai' is one of the successful films of the year. The socio political drama stars Vijay Sethupathi, Soori, Bhavani Sre, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Rajiv Menon in lead roles and the music for the movie was composed by Ilaiyaraaja. The film was critically acclaimed and the shooting for the seco d part of the film is underway.

Reportedly, the sequel of the film will feature Vijay Sethupathi in an extended role and it is said that the shooting for the film will go on for 40 more days in Sirumalai in Tamil Nadu. Earlier, the film was said to release in September, but with a few changes and story extension, the movie is expected to release in theatres only in December 2023.

A couple of weeks back it was reported that actors Prakash Raj and Manju Warrier were joining the cast of the film in important roles. 'Viduthalai 2' will focus on Vijay Sethupathi's role as Vaathiyar, leader of the people's army.
