Vetri Maaran, who previously delivered 'Viduthalai Part 1', has been working on its sequel. Even though the major portion of 'Viduthalai 2' was shot before the release of 'Viduthalai 1', the work for the sequel got delayed. The production cost of 'Viduthalai 2' went beyond their calculation and the film’s shoot is yet to be completed.
According to a report doing rounds on social media, a major sequence involving Vijay Sethupathi is yet to be shot, and the team needs another 20 days for the actor to complete the film. But Vijay Sethupathi hasn't yet set his dates aside to finish the remaining portions of 'Viduthalai 2', and the completion of the sequel is all in the hands of the actor.
Meanwhile, Vetri Maaran had earlier confirmed that another 20 days of shoot left to complete the filming of 'Viduthalai 2'.
Vijay Sethupathi plays Vaathiyar in Vetri Maaran's directorial 'Viduthalai' and the film has Soori and Bhavani Sre playing the lead roles. Ilaiyaraaja is scoring the music, while the sequel is set to unfold the mysteries from its previous part.
