Vetri Maaran gives an update on the 'Vaadivaasal' shooting and his film with Vijay

Vetri Maaran is one of the most successful directors in Tamil cinema, and it's a wish for many actors to work under his direction. Vetri Maaran interacted with the Press and Media today (June 26), and he made a couple of big revelations during the interaction. About the long-pending 'Vaadivaasal', Vetri Maaran has assured that his film with Suriya will commence once he finishes the work for his next release, 'Viduthalai 2'. 'Vaadivaasal' pre-production CG work is happening briskly in London, and the team has been using animatronics (The scanned image of the bull to use it as a robot) to film Suriya's portions with the bull.
Vetri Maaran has also answered about uniting with actor Vijay and said that he and the actor have been in discussion about joining together for a long time, and the actor is ready for it. Vetri Maaran has also confirmed that he will be teaming up with Vijay for sure once he completes his prior commitments.
After the success of 'Viduthalai Part 1', Vetri Maaran is currently working on the post-production of the sequel, and the sequel featuring Soori, Vijay Sethupathi, and Bhavani Sree is expected to arrive in theatres later this year.
It will be 'Vaadivaasal' with Suriya for Vetri Maaran next, and he will be reuniting with Dhanush for the fifth time next. So, Vetri Maaran's film with Vijay might happen in 2024 or 2025.
