Veteran director
SP Muthuraman
was hospitalised after he was suspected to have
Covid Pneumonia
last week. The director was stable and had been under the observation of doctors. Now, the veteran director has recovered completely from
COVID-19
and has been discharged from the hospital today.
A press release from the hospital revealed he is stable. The press release said, "We are gald to inform that the renowned film maker Mr.S.P.Muthuraman, who was admitted to Medway Hospitals with symptoms of
COVID 19
and COVID Pneumonia on 7th April 2021 had been under treatment and he had recovered fully. He is discharged today from the hospital and his condition is normal."
The director is one of the major reasons behind the success of Rajinikanth. He has given a number of hit films for Rajinikanth including Dharmathin Thalaivan, Guru Sishyan, Velaikaran, Paayum Puli and few others. He has also directed Kamal Haasan’s Per Sollum Pillai, Japanil Kalyanaraman, Uyandha Ullam.
