Venkat Prabhu reveals why he chose an English title for Vijay's film

Director Venkat Prabhu is currently helming Vijay's next 'Greatest of All Time', aka 'GOAT'. The movie was initially called 'Thalapathy 68' and the title of the film was launched a couple of months ago. The high-octane science fiction action drama is one of the most anticipated films of the year, and it is going at a steady pace. The shooting for the film is expected to be wrapped up by April.
Venkat Prabhu, in a recent media interaction at the Tamil Nadu Film Directors Association elections, said that he will soon share the movie's next big update. He also hinted that the update would be out in a week's time. Also addressing his choice of opting for an English title, the director said that as a big film is made, it will be released in all regional languages, and the title in English will make it easier as there will be only one title and no need to change it according to another language. Venkat Prabhu also cited how 'KGF' with a single English word reached people across languages. The director earlier also revealed that the film's first single will be out in May, and the new update is that actor Vijay has crooned a song in the film. Fans are now eager to know if the first single will be the one that Vijay sang. 'GOAT' stars Vijay, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Prabhu Deva, Prashanth, Laila, Sneha, Ajmal, Jayaram, Parvathi Nair, VTV Ganesh, Yogi Babu, Premji Amaran, and Vaibhav, among others. The music for the movie is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The makers are looking forward to a solo release, and it is doubtful if the film will be out for Diwali or on another date, as Sivakarthikeyan's 'Amaran' will be out for Diwali.
