Venkat Prabhu reveals Ajith's reaction to trailer of Vijay starrer ‘GOAT’: 'He said it is ‘superb’'

The trailer of Vijay’s highly anticipated upcoming film ‘GOAT (The Greatest Of All Time)’ was launched on Saturday, August 17. The 2-minute-51-second glimpse of the film is receiving an impressive response from the audience. In a recent interaction with the media, the director of the film, Venkat Prabhu, revealed that his good friend and superstar Ajith Kumar happened to watch the trailer and was impressed by it.

Venkat Prabhu asked Ajith Kumar about his reaction to the ‘GOAT’ trailer, and he said, “The trailer is superb. Wishing you and Vijay the very best for the film.”

Venkat Prabhu’s ‘The Greatest of All Time’ is set to hit screens worldwide on September 5. The film starring Vijay has Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Ajmal Ameer, Mohan, and Jayaram among others in crucial roles.

Meanwhile, Vijay appears in dual roles in the film. Speaking about the de-aging, the trolls, and reworking the de-aging scenes, he said, “We took the feedback that we received from the posters and ‘Spark’ song. When we initially planned the role as a 22-23 year-old, Vijay sir said that we should be careful on making the character look like him. The main aspect to work on is the jawline of a person. Also, Vijay sir is a face known to everyone, and it takes time getting used to a new look. But nevertheless, it was a lesson for us too. We then didn’t want to experiment too much with the looks or physical changes. In fact, it is this rework that delayed the trailer release too.”
